If you’ve seen any news lately you’ve almost certainly heard something about the deadly coronavirus, first found in China, currently spreading around the world, and causing alarm across the globe.
It’s Deadly and Contagious
Near the end of January, officials in China have admitted that there are hundreds of reported cases and dozens of confirmed deaths. The disease spreads from person to person via air (a cough or a sneeze, for example) or direct contact (like handshakes or left on surfaces and objects).
It’s Spreading
In the United States, there are multiple confirmed cases and dozens of investigations underway into potential infections across the country. Before the virus hit North America, it made its way to eight countries that we’re aware of so far, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Nepal, and Thailand.
Airports worldwide are on alert, and many are screening passengers for the deadly disease. But identifying carriers is proving difficult, as the symptoms are the same as the common cold: runny nose, sore throat, headache, fever, coughing, and chills.
Modern Medicine Has No Answer
It’s a hard fact to accept, but there is no cure for the coronavirus. There is no vaccine and there is no hope for a vaccine anytime soon, as experts say developing one will take years. But there is good news. There is an effective way to kill the virus before infection.
Prevention With the Right Products
While face masks have been selling out China, it is not an effective way to fight infectious disease. You avoid diseases like the coronavirus with cleaning, both personal hygiene and your immediate environment.

Coronavirus is frightening for sure. It’s got the world’s top health authorities on high alert and there’s very little to be done once a person gets infected. The best, and really the only, defense is cleaning and doing so with products designed to kill the disease.
